Was Crucial Evidence Missed in the Casey Anthony Trial?

In the case that never fails to enrage, we learn that the sheriff’s office's computer investigator missed a June 16, 2008 Google search for "fool-proof" suffocation methods when investigating Casey Anthony’s computer activity. It appears that the search was made on June 16, 2008 which coincidentally was the last day her daughter Caylee was seen alive.

While the Orange County Sherriff’s Department “overlooked” the search, Casey’s attorney Jose Baez’s computer expert found the search before the trial. Jose Baez, first mentioned the search in his book about the case but suggested it was George Anthony who conducted the search after Caylee drowned because he wanted to kill himself.

According to WKMG's timeline of the day Caylee was last seen, Casey was in her parents' home - as confirmed by cell phone pings - when the search was typed in at 2:51pm (which was misspelled as 'suffication').

Seconds later, the user was pointed to a website with writing that suggested: 'Poison yourself and then follow it up with suffocation' by placing 'a plastic bag over the head.' 

One minute after that, a MySpace account was accessed. Casey was the only person in the house who used the social networking site.

To this day I am speechless over the NOT GUILTY verdict.  Despite a great deal of evidence pointing directly to her guilt was, the jury rejected every bit of it.  The jury was so caught up in their CSI delusions that short of seeing video tape of the actual murder they would still have found Casey not guilty in spite of this new information.

Casey was found not guilty and therefore she will NEVER be tried again for this crime.  She could get on national television and confess every detail of her crime and still she cannot be prosecuted again.  I would hope she wouldn’t follow down the path of O J Simpson and write a book entitled “If I Had Killed My Baby”.  The best we can hope for is that Casey is NEVER able to make any money from this crime.

The Anthonys Are Bahama Bound

George and Cindy Anthony are going first class as they alighted from a stretch limo and boarded a private charter jet today at the Orlando Executive Airport heading to the Bahamas. Orange County businessman David Deese, is paying for the trip.

It appears that Casey is not the only one living La Bella Vida.

Grandparents Stand by Daughter On Caylee's 5th Birthday

George and Cindy Anthony celebrated Caylee Anthony's fifth birthday this week with their son and future daughter-in-law.

According to George Anthony, they had a nice little dinner and a cake and reminisced about how much she meant them and how much they miss her. They also planted a little bush out by her little house that was outside.

Casey Anthony couldn't make it due to her previous engagement in prison awaiting trial.

I feel sorry for Cindy Anthony, because she wants people to believe Casey is innocent even though she knows in her heart Casey may have murdered her granddaughter.

Motel Guests Want George Anthony's Room

The Hawaii Motel where George Anthony was found shortly after Caylee’s skeletal remains were discovered, is now turning into a bit of a tourist attraction. Turns out people are calling the motel, or simply showing up, wanting to stay in the same room where George nearly took his own life.

Anthony stayed in room 106 on Feb. 23, trying to find some time alone to sort out his thoughts. While he was there, Daytona Beach police said he sent text messages to his family saying he didn't want to live. It was also reported that he may have started a suicide note.

George Anthony Attempts Suicide

George Anthony, tried to commit suicide today. He went missing this morning, after he left for an interview. The family had not heard from him all day and when George failed to show up for a meeting and for dinner, George and Cindy's lawyer called 911 to report him missing. Cindy had noticed that a picture of George, Cindy, Casey, and a picture of Caylee were missing, along with prescription medication. George had also started sending the family disturbing text messages, stating that he did not want to live anymore and he wanted to be with Caylee. To make sure that Caylee was in God's arms. He also told them that he just wanted to be alone.

Police were able to track George through cell phone pings and GPS to the Hawaii Motel in Daytona. Police found medication and a 12 pack of Miller Lite in the room. There were only four remaining bottles of beer left in the fridge. There was also a small brown blanket/throw laying on the bed. It's not known if that blanket belonged to Caylee, or just to the Anthony family.

It has been reported that George had consumed eight bottles of beer and had took some prescription medication. The Anthony's attorney, Brad Conway, stated that if Law Enforcement had not found George, he felt that George would not still be with us.

Cindy stated that she asked George on Wednesday to pick out some jewelry for Caylee. She thinks this could have sent him over the edge.

George was took to a hospital in Daytona, under the Baker Act, and will remain in state custody for 72 hours, or longer if needed be.

Where is Caylee? So many questions and one has to ask why is Larry King not asking at least one or two of the obvious ones.

Why were there no questions about the lies that Casey told law enforcement? What about the smell of death in the car? Why is Nancy Grace fault, Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez's fault, Leonard Padilla, but Casey bears no responsibility for Caylee's disappearance? Then again, I suppose the fact that George and Cindy are being interviewed by Larry King means that they won't get anything but softball questions.
