Your Child's First Cavity Search

Once again the TSA has managed to squelch an obvious terrorist threat. Guess we're all Terrorists now.

In the meantime a retired special education teacher on his way to a wedding in Orlando, Fla., said he was left humiliated, crying and covered with his own urine after an enhanced pat-down by TSA officers recently at Detroit Metropolitan Airport .

There was also that teeny weeny little incident during which a flight attendant and cancer survivor was forced to show her prosthetic breast during a pat-down.

Musa Mayer has worn a breast prosthesis for 21 years since her mastectomy and is used to the alarms it sets off at airport security. But nothing prepared her for the "invasive and embarrassing" experience of being patted down, poked and examined recently while passing through airport security at Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C.

Can you imagine the level of humiliation when a woman was told that as an increased security risk she ahd to remove her prosthetic as well as her prosthetic liner in front of her frightened child.

Don't you worry though, hope and change are on the way from the TSA. Well not so much. The head of the Transportation Security Administration on Sunday acknowledged that new full-body scanners and thorough pat-downs can be invasive and uncomfortable, but he said that the need to stay a step ahead of terrorists rules out changes in airport screening procedures.

Wouldn't it be great if a leader, I don't know maybe the President of the United States, would allow his family to be patted down in the manner on live tv so that the unwashed masses could see there's nothing wrong with what's going on. Maybe he could let one of the TSA agents touch his junk so that everyone could see it's really no big deal. Then another TSA agent could slowly move his hands up one of his daughter's legs and then down the other maybe search under her clothes. If it's good enough for the goose it's certainly good enough for the gander.

Except of course that will NEVER happen. Hillary Clinton has already said she will be avoiding all this herself. Of course you will Hillary, you fly private jets and government planes. Not pat downs for you. Nope it's those darn three year olds that should be singled out. That will teach the dissenters.

How right Ben Franklin was when he said, "Those who sacrifice liberty for safety deserve neither liberty or safety."
