So You Think You Can Dance?

Shakespeare once said that all the world's a stage. Unfortunately some people don't realize that they need more practice before they take to the stage.

While I'm certain I will never watched So You Think You can Dance, I am willing to bet this thief would be voted off early in the season. As a matter of fact she may well appear in one of those blooper cuts if she ever decided to audition.

A team of robbers takes to bizarre behavior, including dancing, while committing crimes.

The group, possibly strung out drugs, is responsible for two robberies in as many days, police said. The second was caught on surveillance video.

At a 7-Eleven on Ross Avenue on Tuesday night, a man and woman walked into the store. The man then jumped over the counter and pulled an empty bag from his crotch. He stuffed cigarettes into the sack while yelling at the clerk.

The crazed woman then climbed onto the counter and began dancing wildly

Alas, our poor robbers left with nothing because the clerk armed himself with a stick. The woman then used a checkout scanner as a weapon.

According to investigators, the woman and two other men also robbed an Exxon station at Abrams Road and Lovers Lane the day before.

During the melee, the clerk was able to wrestle the bag. Proving that crime not only doesn't pay but some people just can't dance.

Meanwhile que "I'm in the House Feat.

Where Is Sylar

The FBI has also joined the investigation. However, officials have released little information about how Newton and Priem know each other

Newton said she struggles with depression and felt her son would have a better life with Priem and her family.

Sylar went missing from a tent in which Priem, her mother Nancy Collins and Priem's 12-year-old daughter were sleeping.

Priem's 14-year-old son and a friend were sleeping in an adjacent tent. Priem reportedly discovered Sylar missing at 1:45 a.m.

It is interesting to note there that according to the Arizona Supreme Court website, a Flagstaff woman named Christine Priem, born in September 1974, has been involved in several court cases dating back to 2003. While some of the incidents are traffic-related, there was a 2007 arrest and subsequent conviction for a "false report to law enforcement."

What is the truth and where is Sylar?

Anyone with information about Syler's whereabouts is urged to contact the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office at 928-771-3260.

White Folks Shouldn't Listen To Rap Music

Calm down. Personally I could care less if you listen to rap, country, classical, or 80's music. As long as your music is not playing loud enough to bust my car window or shake the shared wall between our apartment you are certainly entitled to listen to the kind of music that you want.

Alas, not all of us are such free-thinkers.

A 14-year-old Florida boy allegedly assaulted a man Monday night in what police say was a racially-motivated attack. The teenager was arrested after he allegedly struck the 22-year-old victim, who is white, in the face.

The victim was on a sidewalk listening to rap music when he was confronted by the boy and other teenagers. The suspect told the man to turn off his music, adding that he was "white and he shouldn't be listening to rap music." When the victim replied that he "could listen to whatever he wants," the suspect "repeatedly" punched him in the face. Though "other black juvenile males and females...attempted to get involved in the dispute," the victim fled "before any further battery could occur." The man sustained a swollen left eye during the assault, cops reported.

The 14 year old might want to take a look at the demographics of just who actually buys rap music. Turns out according to a study 70% of hip-hop consumers are white. That's a lot of ass kicking if you're out to spread the word that rap is not for whites. (This according to a Wall Street Journal article written by Carl Bialik.)

Does the word senseless come to mind when you read about this attack? When he goes to jail does he brag how he kicked a "white boy's ass coz he was listening to hip hop?" Rather than being a music critic perhaps this young man might want to crack open some books or actually write some music that would appeal to the masses.

Don't Post Wedding Photos If You Are Married To Someone Else

Note to self: If I meet some hot Marine or Sailor and run off to marry him without dealing with that whole messy divorce thing with current husband, DON'T post wedding photos of new husband on Facebook. Remember things posted on the internet are NOT SECRET.

In a couple of weeks I will be telling my students about internet safety and the lack of privacy on the net. My students roll their eyes because they know best but you'd be surprised at the number of people who have no earthly clue that employers routinely check people's Facebook and MySpace pages.

So it's best NOT to post photos of you smoking pot during a wet tee shirt contest or tweet, "I need me some more meth."

Sadly no one told this Cassanova to keep his "other wife" off the net.

Lynn's wedding took place in Italy in 2005, and by 2008, the couple had two children and a home in a Cleveland suburb. As a businessman with his own plane, Megan's husband traveled a lot around the country and across the world.

The wife became suspicious her husband claimed to have been in China and even brought back gifts for the kids yet his passport had been at home the entire time.

She logged on recently to a facebook account of a woman who seemed to be spending a great deal of time with her husband and saw photos from her husband's wedding with his second wife The only problem, of course was that SHE was still married to Mr. Skank businessman.

It's rubbing that salt into the wound of already finding out that my husband's having an affair," Lynn said. "The pictures are out there for the world to see. It's not just that I have the knowledge, but I see the proof and everyone I know sees the proof and people I don't know see the proof."

"If they're going to have the affair, they're going to have the affair," she said. "But it's extra. It adds impact to the hurt, when they're posting the things they post about the affair. Pictures of the vacations they're taking with the other, the lover, the extra person. (Facebook posts) just cause a whole new hurt."

Reward In The Kyron Homan Case Has Been Increased

Please let me know if your heart doesn't just break for Kyron's Mom as she tells Kyron to to never give up home and she is coming to get him.

I hope so. I certainly hope so.

In the meantime 11,000 hours have been dedicated to the search of Kyron Horman.

Syler Newton Is Missing

Syler Newton disappeared early Sunday while camping with family.

Syler Newton has light-brown hair, blue eyes and was last seen wearing only a diaper. The three-foot-tall, 20-pound toddler was camping with family at the Beaver Creek Campground near Highway 179, off Interstate 17, said Dwight D'Evelyn, a Yavapai County Sheriff's spokesman.

Syler was last seen around midnight inside a tent while sleeping with his mother, grandmother, 12-year-old sister and 14-year-old brother.

A family member awoke about 1:45 a.m. Sunday and discovered the boy was missing from his sleeping bag. Family members searched the immediate area then called 911.

It's pretty hot and humid right now," D'Evelyn said. "The terrain and dehydration would be the critical concerns for us." About 50 search and rescue officials are on scene and an Arizona Department of Public Safety helicopter searched from the region from above.

Officials are using ATVs and bloodhounds, which tracked the boys scent for a short distance but didn't find the toddler.

Sheriff's detectives are also present to determine whether "there is any evidence of foul play or any criminal aspects of the incident," D'Evelyn said. "That's routine, especially involving a missing 2-year-old. We want to make sure all our bases are covered."

Officials were also checking with local sex offenders in the area.

Anyone with information or knows of Syler's whereabouts is asked to contact the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office at 928-771-3260 or by calling 911.

Break Near in Kyron Horman Case?

Authorities say a break in the case may be imminent after one of the biggest probes in the state's history. Police say they've tracked nearly 3,000 leads and conducted hundreds of interviews.

"I've got to make a lot of decisions this week," says Multnoma County Sheriff Dan Staton. "It's gonna be based on ... what comes out of the investigation between now and the end of this week.

Police won't say whom they suspect or when or if they'll make an arrest, and haven't named Terri a suspect or person of interest.

He's Just Not Worth It

At the risk of sounding obvious, NO MAN is worth killing over.

I just finished reading up on the Rachel Wade Case and the drama of it seemed to suck the oxygen out of the room.

The story is long and complicated but suffice it to say, it was about a boy. These two young women allowed their lives to be destroyed by a boy who saw them as nothing more than "friends with benefits." (His words not mine)

In the end Rachel Marie Wade plunged a kitchen knife into Sarah Ludemann about 12:40 a.m. Wednesday - stabbing her in the heart. Two girls, one dead, and one recently convicted of murder in the second degree.

I think what disturbed me the most was that I can still remember being young, being so madly in love with a man who cared far less for me than I did for him. My ex-husband cheated on me, beat me, and fathered a child with another woman, and yet I focused much of my anger and hate at the other woman.

I felt if only she would leave us alone we could work things out. The pain and anger of the whole situation caused me to contemplate killing myself just to end the constant harassment and abuse. I remember her calling, and calling, and calling and I asked her "Why don't you leave us alone? I have a sick baby, why won't you just stop." She was quick to tell me that MY Husband loved her and not me and I needed to let him go.

I was a new mother with an extremely ill child with no time for dealing with my husband's mistress. I was too busy struggling with postpartum depression, a child in intensive care, and my body was healing from a c-section. I tried to appeal to her as a human being to just leave me alone, but I had what she wanted, my husband.

My husband on the other hand bounced back an forth between denying the existence of this woman, swearing that there was no one else. Then he beat me several times, almost kicking open my C-section stitches because I had told the "imaginary" mistress "stop calling her you whore. Leave me alone. Leave my family alone."

Did I ever want her dead? I would be lying if I answered no. I wished that she'd fall off the edge of the world, that lightening would strike her dead, that she wold get AIDS, and yes I even felt that if she came to my house to "kick me out of my own home" I could kill her. Thank GOD there was no Facebook or Myspace back then because I'm certain she would have used them to harass me also.

Fortunately she never dropped by. Thankfully I had friends who stood by me through it all and helped me move on with my life. My ex is still alive and remarried. I am still alive and remarried. She married twice (neither time to my ex) and they both ditched her. Yes I still secretly gloat that her life has turned out the way it has but she is definitely alive.

I look back in amazement that this woman, ran up to me in the courthouse for my divorce hearing. I was handing him over to her on a silver platter. She waddled up to me full speed while I sat outside the courtroom waiting for our case to be called. She was HUGELY pregnant and she saw me and took off headed directly towards me. I had been sitting there with my Grandmother, my infant son, and a friend and she was screeching calling me a bitch!

I didn't give her eye contact until the screaming happened and when I did I noticed that two officers grabbed her, restraining her, telling her to calm down or they would have to take her into custody.

I looked down on the floor and tried to hold back the tears. THIS was the woman he was leaving me for. A high school drop out who acted like a piece of white trash (may apology to white trash everywhere). I said nothing didn't give her the benefit of seeing me so upset. I could still hear her yelling and screaming. Saying things like, "I guess this proves who he really loves."

Then the two cops approached me. Everyone I was with had been quiet. I really didn't know why the cops were coming to speak to me.

The first cop said to me, "Is that the woman your husband is with instead of you?" Strange question for a policeman.

I stared at the floor again. I was so embarrassed. I barely squeaked out the word "yes."

The second officer said, "He is making the biggest mistake of his life." The first cop said to us "My God she's nuts. You deserve better."

They walked away and I could feel the tears slip down my cheek because I didn't understand why two strangers could see this but not him. Then again I must have been dense because I should have said to myself, you're right, I do deserve better.

My point is that I can understand how tempers can fly but really no man is worth killing over. No man worth dying for. The funny thing is the men that women fight over generally seem to be worthless, (my ex included). In the Wade case the worthless Lothario was named Joshua Camacho. He was seeing both these girls as well as another one who bore his child. Sad, so very sad.

I wanted to reach back to my younger self and smack myself across the face shouting "What the hell are you doing putting up with this? What is your problem girl? Why are you allowing a man to abuse you and take advantage of you all while calling it love? It is anything but! Someone who loves you would never hurt you in this manner. Someone who loves you would not cheat on you. Someone who loves you would never beat Someone who loves you would put a stop to this harassment. You deserve so much better."

Then today I saw another Facebook feud between two women who claimed to love the same prison inmate led to a high-speed chase and a crash that critically injured one of the rivals, killed her friend and left the second rival facing murder charges.

Torrie Emery was arraigned Friday in Pontiac's 50th District Court on multiple felonies, as friends of the dead woman were holding a car wash to pay for her funeral.

"It's unbelievable," said Pontiac police Chief Valard S. Gross told The Associated Press as he described the escalating dispute that ended with Wednesday's deadly crash. "It's just crazy."

According to Gross, Emery, 23, and Danielle Booth, 20, had been feuding for some time, leading to an earlier police complaint. According to Emery's family, the dispute was over a 23-year-old man now serving time in a Michigan prison.

On Wednesday, Emery was driving when she saw Booth in the passenger seat of a car driven by Alesha Abernathy and started chasing her, Gross said. Emery had her 3-year-old daughter in the car with her.

Trying to escape, Abernathy apparently ran a red light at Rapid Drive and her Ford Taurus was struck by a refrigeration truck, killing her and critically injuring Booth, police said.

The crash killed Abernathy and critically injured Booth, who was in the intensive care unit Friday at POH Regional Medical Center in Pontiac. Emery and her daughter weren't hurt.

"We apologize to the family about what happened," Emery's aunt, Tamika White, said after the hearing. "This Facebook stuff is just a mess. They're going on Facebook about a guy that neither one have — that's in the penitentiary."

She wasn’t trying to kill anybody,” Tracy Emery screamed while sitting in front of the courthouse. “Please have mercy on her, Lord.”

Once again we have one woman dead in the hapless pursuit of a man she will probably one day look back upon as a LOSER. In each case, a life was snuffed out too early.

Does Law Enforcement Have Enough Probable Cause To Arrest Teri Horman

Isn't t interesting that Terri arrived at her lawyer's office around 9AM on Friday and was seen leaving the Pacwest Building around 4:45PM Friday. I don't suppose they were chatting about the weather.

As you know, Law enforcement has already searched the residences of three of Terri's associates. One of the people told the press that she and another friend of Terri Horman said they’re cooperating fully with detectives since they have nothing to hide.

Both said they feel they’ve been dragged into the investigation by simply being supportive of Terri and doing things like visiting her at her home.

I suppose if my friend had a missing child I would be there to support her. I'm certain I would take her phone calls, buy groceries, fix some freeze ahead meals and such. It's what a good friend would do. I would not LIE to the police to "protect" my friend. I would not help her conceal a child, dead or alive.

Once I understood that she was not cooperating with law enforcement to do everything she could to find her missing child, I would have to withdraw my aid and comfort.

But both said they are stepping away from the situation as much as they can because it’s simply not something they want to be connected with this any longer.

Meanwhile, a press conference is scheduled for Tuesday July 27, 2010 at the Hanson Building located at 12240 NE Glisan Portland, Oregon. The purpose of this press conference will be to provide an update of the case and respond to questions that were submitted regarding the case.

Please, Anyone with information regarding Kyron Horman whereabouts is asked to call the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office tip line 503 261-2847, or to dial 911 with emergency information.

Why Is DeDe Spicher Refusing To Cooperate With Law Enforcement?

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Law enforcement investigating the disappearance of 7-year-old Kyron Horman have been putting pressure on a 43-year-old Tualatin woman named DeDe Spicher.

Detectives learned that Spicher, who shares Terri Horman's passion for fitness and gardening, was doing gardening work for a Northwest Portland homeowner on June 4. She abruptly left the house about 11:30 a.m. and didn't return until an hour to 90 minutes later.

Another person working at the home called Spicher to come in for lunch, and the homeowner called Spicher on her cell phone but she wasn't reachable. Detectives have questioned both the homeowner and the other person who was working at the home that day.

Do you suppose that this is what the three hour meeting was about earlier this week?

Thursday evening, Kaine Horman and Kyron's mother, Desiree Young, and Desiree's husband, Tony Young, said they had been briefed by law enforcement and believe Spicher is hampering the investigation. They implored her to cooperate.

Here is the full statement from Kaine Horman, Desiree Young and Tony Young:

"Good evening,

"We have been briefed by law enforcement on the most recent developments in Kyron’s case. We have been informed that they have identified a person that has been in close communication with Terri Moulton Horman since Kyron went missing and her name is DeDe Spicher. She has not only been in close communication with Terri but has been providing Terri with support and advice that is not in the best interests of our son. Additional information provided shows that she is refusing to cooperate with law enforcement, she is also going as far as to suggest to others that may have information regarding Kyron’s disappearance, not to cooperate as well. We implore DeDe Spicer (sic) to come forward and cooperate with the investigators in any way that they need in order to assist us in finding our son. We will state further that if we find out through the investigation that she caused a delay in us finding our son due to her lack of cooperation, we will pursue civil remedies in this matter.

"We as a family cannot understand how anyone can look at Kyron’s smiling face, having information and choose not to help bring him home. Please remember what this is about, it’s about bringing a wonderful little boy back to his family.

"Desiree, Tony, and Kaine"

Rangel Dresses Down a reporter

Once again a Democrat puts someone in their place for asking a relevant question. The tactic is always the same, attack the person who asks the question and then demand to know who "sent you."

I suppose that had the reporter NOT been Luke Russert, son of the late Tim Russert there would have been some snide remark about "Fox News". Then left-wing bloggers would proclaim that "racism" drove the reporter to ask such a question.

As it is Rangel wants you to be aware that he expects better of someone from NBC. (this I suppose would mean being a sychophant and only asking softball questions.)

Mother Killed Her Kids Because They're Both Not Normal

Saiqa Akhter is accused of strangling her two young children told because they were autistic and she wanted "normal kids," according to a tape released Wednesday.

WHAT??????

Saiqa Akhter was charged with one count of capital murder in the strangling of her 5-year-old son, Zain Akhter, at the family's apartment Monday night. Police spokesman David Tull said another capital murder charge is pending in the slaying of her 2-year-old daughter, Faryaal Akhter, who died Tuesday night.

Ms. Akhter told the 911 operator she initially tried to poison the children with bathroom cleaner but they refused to drink it. When that didn't work, "I used a wire on their necks," she said

When the operator asked the woman why she attacked her children, she said, "They're both not normal, not normal. They're autistic. Both are autistic." Pressed further, she said, "I don't want my children to be like that. ... I want normal kids."

I don't know any mother alive who hasn't muttered the words "Is that normal?" in respect to their kids. I'm certain you have probably given thought to the question when it comes to toilet training, walking, weight gain, etc., etc. Mothers who of sound mind don't say to themselves, "This one isn't normal I'll get rid of it." as though the child was a broken doll.

I understand the frustrations, the depression, the confusion and the fear, but I also understand you don’t kill children because they are different—not perfect, not normal. (Whatever normal is)

It is tragic that Saiqa never received the mental health care that she so desperately needed. As a result, her two precious children are dead.

My nephew is Autistic and there are online resources for parents who are dealing with the challenge of raising an autistic child.

Kyron's Dad Attends Meetings At Sheriff's Office

Kaine Horman attended three hours of meetings at the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday.

Lt. Mary Lindstrand, a spokeswoman with the sheriff’s office will not comment on why Kaine was there Tuesday.

Is Terri Flaming Herself In The Forum?

Yesterday I asked the question who is HopeInVirginia?

After going through all her posts it seemed that HopeInVirginia had much to say and appeared to "protest too loudly" about Terri. Indeed HopeInVirginia may very well have been Terri or at least someone who feels a kinship with Terri perhaps familial.

I also noticed a ploy I remember from another forum of which I am a member.

In that other forum I had read a thread begun by a woman who was living with her boyfriend. He was not paying child support, he didn't have a job, and she felt that it was pretty crappy that his ex-wife was trying to take him back to court because he wasn't paying his child support. She went on and on about how the evil ex wife wanted him to pay her $100 per month and how the evil ex wife didn't deserve that. She should get out there and get a job and take care of the two kids. (This was a few years back and unemployment was not as high as it is now.)

I suggested that perhaps he needed to get a job and begin paying his child support. I suggested that he try applying at the local McDonalds or Walmart.

She went off at me telling me how evil the ex wife was and how she called her boyfriend and yelled at him.

I suggested that she take a good look at how he was living his life now because she was seeing her future.

Another person entered the thread and tore in to me. This new person told me that I had no clue whatsoever about what was going on and that it was obvious to her that the ex was a B$@&! This new poster accused me of being the same thing because I didn't realize that boyfriend was entitled to start a new life with girlfriend and ex wife needed to do the same thing and stop asking for money.

Why in the world would someone waste their first post berating me when there were other more interesting topics on the board. A new poster came online and they also used their first post to go after me.

The next post came from someone new to the post but not the forum. She wanted to know why there was such a vicious attack going. She was then attacked by all "three of them" too. Turns out that there was only one person and she created two new identities so she could argue her point.

I find it interesting that two "new posters" began posting on the Oregon site now that HopeInVirginia stopped posting. One insintel even claimed she had inside info. The other is 42State. Quite the lovefest between the "two" of them.

Perhaps "they" are one in the same. Maybe "they" are actually Terri's new personas.
notice that they were both created the same day right after "hope" disappeared.

Terri Horman Is Moving Out On Saturday

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Attorneys for Kaine Horman and Terri Horman alerted the court about 1:30 p.m. today that they have settled out of court when Terri will move out of their home.

She has agreed to vacate the house on Northwest Sheltered Nook Road by 3 p.m. Saturday.

Houze said Terri agreed to move out, give up rights to custody, but the hearing will address financial and other issues. A date of September 21 was set aside for the contempt of court hearing.

This is all very amazing. When I was going through my divorce my ex never tried to get custody of the kids. I would sooner die than to lose one of them. Nothing, and I mean nothing could have kept me from going to court to retain custody of my children.

This action speaks volumes about Terri and sadly it doesn't bode well for Kyron. If she's willing to sacrifice her own flesh and blood to save herself, then Kyron never stood a chance. (IMHO)

This quote from an article by KOIN is very telling also.

When asked via email by KOIN if he believes Terri had something to do with Kyron's disappearance, he wrote: "I believe at some point she will be arrested

Who Is HopeInVA?

I am never surprised that to hear that there are two sides to every story. I may sound a bit egotistical, but there are times I think that there is one point of view that any rational person should have.

For example, I remember hearing a news story years ago about someone using duck tape to tape a dogs head so that it could not see or open its mouth and then set the dog on fire, then freed it so that it would run into the busy highway.

The dog managed to live, amazingly enough, and the suspects were eventually found and arrested. You would think that reasonable people would call for the offenders to be punished with some jail time.

I was surprised when these juveniles (ages 14-17) had a number of supporters many who passionately argued that these were just kids. Now mind you I didn't want the death penalty but I definitely wanted them to receive psychiatric help IN JAIL.

The supporters of the juveniles attacked people online claiming that they cared more about animals than people. They said over and over that we "didn't know the whole story". We were also told endlessly about innocent until guilty. Fine. When and if they were found guilty I wanted them in jail.

Recently, there has been suspicion that Terri Horman has taken to posting on Forums online.

Again, if my world was falling apart, my step-child missing, my husband leaves me AND takes my child AND wants me out of my house, I wouldn't have the time for sexting let alone posting on forums.

This is NOT to say I'm pronouncing her guilty of Kyron's disappearance. I'm putting that to the side, I'm saying that when I'm depressed, I'm not posting to forums and I'm certainly not making snarky responses.

So who is HopeInVA? (why in the heck to you pick VA anyway?) Some people believe it's none other than Terri herself. She might want to make better use of her time like packing her stuff up before she is forced to leave the marital home.

Maybe it's not Terri. Maybe it's one of her friends. Isn't it AMAZING that HopeInVA appears to be an insider of sorts. Either way how does this help find Kyron and shouldn't that be the focus?

I will read these quotes from http://connect.oregonlive.com/user/HopeInVA/comments.html and you decide.

if the situation were that someone was saying to their attorney, in private, without any legal secy or paralegal or unretained atty in earshot, that they were going to kill someone else, THEN the atty would be free of atty-client privilege....but otherwise, it's "to the grave". o.O. i'm sure it'll upset some of the haters & FB Gang now. pfft! :P

that's the logic, pfigment. took Mayberry RFD a while to get there, but i think they're close....wutz so funny is that one day the oregonian publishes a slant on the family structure one way one day, then publishes the polar opposite slant on them another day...same information.

& that's paralleled the view of the case, & the key players, from day 14.
(i would say day 1, but we all know everything had only 1 slant, versus TH, then)
Kyron's a real cutie, & I'm questoning what Drama Queen Desiree meant exactly when she said (in her very tardy statement..er, letter targeted at an adult-level reader not a 2nd grader that Kyron is) that Kyron's had a difficult life.......considering how she gave him up to Kaine & Terri rather than allowed her parents to raise him for her during her convalescence from kidney failure (transplant surgery), hard is an understatement when your own mother gives you up & you've got ice-man for a biodad.
D.Q.D. sure is a piece o'work.

no wonder LE can't figure out where to find Kyron

...KH needs to be sterilized....if he got rid of 'the boyz' in his life, he's left with only females that he can easily control...problem is that Kiara is a dead-ringer for her mother which'll bother phyllis but isn't that by design by an antisocial personality like kaine

attorney-client privilege is gonna fully protect SM so there's no way she won't tell him every detail that she's aware of, not only about herself but cold-blooded Kaine, ice princess Desiree, & so forth. she has nothing to lose in telling Houze. plus, he's sorta cute so why not.

Posted on Landscaper tells detectives Terri Moulton Horman offered him money to kill her husband on July 04, 2010, 9:07AM

anytime you have a father taking a 2 yo child from it's mother, the mother's instinct will be to protect that child with all she's got; Kaine sprung this on her, I'm sure it was totally out of the blue, I'm sure he discussed it with his divorce attorney prior to the heinous act & the divorce attorney (NOT LE) told him what to do; if Kaine did as he was instructed, he baited Terri into argument & possibly pushing/shoving or threats as emotions ran high, which gave him what he needed to file the TRO

LE would NOT have told him to move out with Kiara, steal Kiara, or file for divorce from TH. TH could sue them & win.
LE WOULD HAVE removed Kiara themselves, with child protective services, IF they thought Kiara's life was endangered or threatened in any way. LE DIDN'T.

Kaine did. all on his own.
while Kyron, HIS SON, was/IS Missing.
Tells you something about his priorities, his cold, calculating, remorseless, unethical, immoral character. JMHO, of course.

Mother Believes Stepmother Planned Kyron's Disappearance

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

This clip comes from Kyron's mother, Desiree Young's, appearance on the today show.

I pray that Desiree is correct and that her son Kyron is still alive.

Meanwhile, the first court hearing for Terri Horman is scheduled for July 22 and will address her moving schedule. The second hearing is set for Sept. 21 when the judge will address allegations that she violated her restraining order.

Houze said Terri Horman would be in court for both hearings.

Fernbank Museum Of Natural History

Today we finally decided to check out Fernbank. I had seen the signs and had wanted to go for quite some time.

It seems taht Geckos had over taken Ferbnbank and through interactive exhibits we were able to learn a great deal about these amazing small creatures.

We also decided to take in a movie at Fernbank’s IMAX Theatre. We chose Arabia for several reasons and we were not dissappointed. It was a spectacular and extraordinary film.

If it wasn't so darn far from where we live I'd buy a season's pass and go again and again. It was such a great way to spend the day.

Update On The Kyron Horman Case

The restraining order against Terri Moulton Horman was released just after noon today.

The order requires Terri Horman to stay more than 500 feet from her husband or daughter, and not go to the Skyline School, Kaine's Intel office or his gym, The Edge in Beaverton. She's also restricted from entering her daughter's current or future day care provider or school. Terri Horman was also ordered not to possess any firearms

As you can see, Kaine sites the fact that the police notified him that there had been a plot to kill him.

Kaine Horman has asked a judge to order Terri to move out of their rural Northwest Portland house, according to court papers.

Meanwhile Kyron is still missing and I believe someone knows something that will help find him.

Please if you know anything about the whereabouts of Kyron Horman is asked to call the Multnomah County Sheriff's tip line at 503-261-2847.

Suspected Child Abductor Kills Himself

Sometimes a strange thought comes to my mind and I try to shake it. That is the case with Alisa Maier.

I was thrilled to see that Alisa Maier was found alive. When my husband asked me if they found they man who abducted her, I said that they hadn't. Almost the second those words came out of my mouth I thought, "He will probably kill himself because he knows that there is no way out for him."

Now obviously there are hundreds of child molesters out there and they don't kill themselves. It was just a strange thought that kind of stayed with me for about an hour or so.

By no stretch of the imagination am I psychic but sometimes a hunch screams out at me and I will have no earthly clue as to why it happens.

I set about running my errands and doing my chores and when I checked the news I found out that there is now an update in this case.

St. Louis County Police confirm for KMOX News that the person of interest in the Alisa Maier child abduction case shot and killed himself as he was approached by police in Lincoln County on Highway D. A police spokesman tells KMOX that they have also located a car matching the description of the suspect's vehicle but police are stopping short of calling him the abductor.

His name is said to be Paul Sterling Smith. Smith is a convicted sex offender who was released from jail a few weeks ago on drug charges. In 1995 he pleaded guilty to sodomy with a 10-year-old and was sentenced to 15 years in jail.

Sadly once again we threw open the prison doors to allow another child to be abused.

Alisa Maier Found Alive After Being Abducted From Front Yard

Alisa Maier, the four year old, who was snatched from her front yard has been found alive and unharmed at a car wash more than 80 miles from her home.

Alisa Maier turned up at a car wash in a St. Louis suburb after a passerby called police to report a little boy wandering outside just before 10 p.m.

It was Alisa, her hair cut short.

Alisa is now recovering at a St. Louis hospital with her parents by her side. She has been able to provide more information about her abductor, a white man in his 30s

FBI spokeswoman Rebecca Wu said the responding officer reported that Maier was unharmed, but seemed tired, The Associated Press reported.

Police are examining surveillance video from local businesses in hopes of finding some clues in the case.

Alisa's father wants to let the public how thankful the family is for all of the community's prayers and thoughts, and for all of the volunteers who worked to find Alisa.

Please help prevent this from happening to another child. Anyone with information can call the Louisiana Police Department at (314) 754-4021 or the Pike County Sheriff's Department at (573) 324 3202.

Alisa Maier: Missouri 4 Year Old Kidnapped From Front Yard

Authorities issued an Amber Alert for Alisa, who was apparently abducted Monday evening while playing with her older brother outside the family home in Louisiana, Missouri.

The girl was playing with her brother in the front yard as her parents prepared dinner inside the home, according to police and neighbors. Her brother told police that a black four-door car, probably a convertible with tinted windows, pulled up to the house and a thin man made off with the Alisa.

Alisa has straight brown hair, brown eyes and weighs about 40 pounds. She stands 3 feet tall and was last seen wearing a white-shirt and blue denim shorts.

Alisa's brother described the alleged abductor as a thin white male, possibly in his late teens or 20s with dark, curly hair. He was driving a black or dark-colored four-door sedan with possible front end damage, according to authorities.

Anyone with information can call the Louisiana Police Department at (314) 754-4021 or the Pike County Sheriff's Department at (573) 324 3202.

Landscaper Says Terri Horman Wanted Him To Kill Her Husband!

Right from the beginning I have been trying to figure out why a step-mother would murder a child she had raised almost since birth.

It would seem that if he were an infant then the motive may have be jealousy. Perhaps she wanted her husband for her very own or much like a cowbird. Cowbirds will lay its eggs in another bird nest. Starvation will often kill the host's chicks. In some species the cowbird chick will use its large size to push the other chicks out of the nest.

I wondered about the fact that she now had a baby girl and if perhaps Kyron's gender played in to his disappearance. There have been cases in which children were killed because they were the wrong sex. Was she even fearful that little Kyron might pose some kind of "threat" to her child.

Was insurance involved? Did she wrack up a lot of debt and then decided that Kyron was the one to sacrifice.

Did Kyron stand in her way? If so what kind of impediment did he pose?

None of these things make sense to a normal person, but then again how many NORMAL people go around killing children? People who do that have flawed thinking (understatement of the year).

Then this morning it is announced that A landscaper who worked for Kyron Horman's family at their rural Northwest Portland home told authorities that the missing boy's stepmom offered to pay him to kill her husband.

Turns out the landscaper told authorities that Terri Moulton Horman approached him with the murder-for-hire plot six to seven months before Kyron disappeared. It sure would have been nice if he could have gone to the police right away on that one.

My best friend went through a contentious divorce as did I. No doubt in a moment of anger or hopelessness we muttered the words, "I could just kill him." Neither one of us sought out a hitman because as crazy and out of control as our life felt we certainly would never have decided to actually kill another human being. It just wasn't in our nature.

It was this revelation to the father that prompted him to leave Terri and take his small daughter with him.

Then comes the question? Why kill this child? Let's say that Kaine is the most evil SOB who ever walked the face of the earth for the sake of argument. Perhaps you feel the only way to escape years of abuse and infidelity is to kill him. Why kill the child?

Did she feel the child knew something that could derail her plans? Did he witness an affair and she was afraid that he may tell his father. If so, he might leave her before the hit goes down and then she might lose the insurance she hopes to gain? Did she kill him to hurt her husband, perhaps feeling that life without his son would be a living death for him?

What is important right now is that Kyron is found. Someone, somewhere knows something and that bit of knoweldge could be the key to bringing Kyron home.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Kyron Horman is asked to call the Multnomah County Sheriff's tip line at 503-261-2847.

Is Obama Thin Skinned? Liberal Maureen Dowd Thinks So

This is another example of a liberal pointing something out about the President that would be interpreted as "racist" had Sarah Palin said the same thing.

DOWD: Oh, he doesn't- He's- he's very unlike- You know, it's funny and I cut him a lot of slack here, because many presidents like JFK and W have rich daddies. And so, they have a lot of confidence. But he's had to develop a lot of shields. He's come up, you know, basically, as Michelle says, he was raised by wolves. So, you know, he has a lot of shields. So, he's thin-skinned. And when you're thin-skinned, you like to control the image. And he doesn't often like the image that the media has of him.

Wow, wolves? Who were the wolves? Were they his white Grandparents that raised him most of his life? Is white mother who came and went through his life? Was it his father who abandoned him when he was a young boy? Who exactly were the wolves? Just curious.

By the way, I was also interested how a "feminist" would label certain traits as being male or female.

You see in this same interview she tells Stephanopoulos that people like Hillary and Sarah Palin have traditional male traits, which is alpha, "my way or the highway."

Obama on the other hand has female management traits. Consensus, compromise, and listening to everyone.

I may just have to get my feminist handbook out, but I really believe that we were taught that men and women were the same. There were no differences. Well of course the body part difference but other than that we were all just plain old human. What about that Maureen?

Parents Urge Kyron Horman's Stepmother To Cooperate

The biological parents of a missing Oregon boy issued a plea for his stepmother. "We implore Terri Horman to fully cooperate with the investigators to bring Kyron home,"

Interestingly enough, while search teams spent ten days combing the hills and ravines near the school his biological parents ares still expresssing hope the boy was alive. (I pray this is true).

"Kyron is still alive," his mother, Desiree Young, said. "We would like all of you -- everyone -- to continue to get his face out there, to continue looking for him in your day-to-day activities."

Meanwhile various media outlets have filed a document requesting oral argument to unseal the Restraining Order.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Kyron Horman is asked to call the Multnomah County Sheriff's tip line at 503-261-2847.

Terri Horman Has Hired Attorney Stephen Houze

Terri Horman has hired attorney Stephen Houze.

If you recognize that name it's because he has represented Damon Stoudamire (marijuana charge)and Dr. Jayant Patel (Dr. Death)and other noted cases in Oregon.

This of course would mean the end to lie detector tests and talking to law enforcement officials. Contact with the media will probably be even more restricted.

Stephen Houze is a graduate of Brown University and Vanderbilt Law School. After spending more than three years as a trial attorney in Portland’s Metropolitan Public Defender Office, he opened his private practice in 1976.

I've been going over and over in my head why in the world would Terri have killed this little boy that she raised for seven years. Did she just want him out of the way now that there was a new baby? Did she feel that he was a threat to HER family? Is she suffering from "postpartum depression"? Was she hoping that this tragedy would draw her and Kaine closer? Was she desperate for attention and willing to sacrifice this young boy to bring her attention? When will the police release the 13 minute 911 call? Was there a struggle when Kaine tried to remove his daughter from the home? Is she really reading stories online and posting responses?

All these questions may or may not be answered eventually but most importantly we need to make sure that Kyron is found.
