Today Darryl and I had one long cheap date. First we went to the library and returned the DVD's we've seen and then checked out nine new videos. Then we went to Buffalos. We went there with a coupon for buy one entre get one free. After that coupon we stil would have owed $12. Fortunately, as a gift we received a $10 gift card for Buaffalos. So our meal includng tip was about $5.
From there we went to the movies. I won a free ticket to the movies and I received a free movie ticket as a gift. We brought in our own soda. I've been wanting to see the movie Marley and Me. Ever since I read that book I've been waiting for the movie. The book had me in tears at the end. I liked the movie OK but the book was really far better.
Not much time for blog contests but I did learn that one should write their email in the entry because like one of the bloggers said you blog usually doesn't give the reader a chance to reach you. Good point.
I did receive an email stating I won a DVD today.
